Walking Football
A Warm Welcome from the Chairman, Steve Morris:
“If like me you are an avid football fan and past player (not quite at the Ronaldo level) and you are getting on a bit (I am 60) but still have that desire to remain active, both physically and mentally, then walking football could be for you. The Walking Mikes FC are a friendly, sociable bunch that meet for regular training sessions (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) and a few of us play in the Walking Mikes Teams in the Sunday Leagues. We have an active men’s and separate women’s section covering all ages from 50 up to 75. We run regular tournaments and (family) events and meet regularly in the bar at Boldmere St Michaels Football Club. Why not give it a try and unleash your inner Ronaldo or Messi 😊 – I hope to see you soon. Steve. Contact: walkingmikesfc@gmail.com or 07970 722836
